College Events

The Smith community comes together for events throughout the year. From the first Rally Day in 1876, to Julia Child Day and the Sherrerd Teaching Prizes, begun in 2004, the college's annual events honor our students, faculty and alumnae for their accomplishments; bring families to campus for a taste of college life; and give students an opportunity to learn, reflect or just have fun.

Showcasing Scholarship

Spring at Smith is all about highlighting the countless ways students collaborate, innovate, and create to solve the complex problems of today’s world. Collectively known as the Spring Showcases, three of these events—Joypalooza, Smith Arts Day, and Celebrating Collaborations—take place in April.

Check back often, as project descriptions and event schedules will continue to be updated!
