Melissa Febos and Donika Kelly Reading

Essayist/critic Melissa Febos & poet Donika Kelly are singular creative voices in their respective genres. Kelly’s debut was the much-lauded collection Bestiary (2016), & Febos’ bestselling collection GIRLHOOD (2021) has been translated into ten languages. Their most recent works are Febos’ The Dry Season, & Kelly’s The Natural Order of Things, both released in 2025. The two are married, and both teach at the University of Iowa.
