College Events

The Smith community comes together for events throughout the year. From the first Rally Day in 1876, to Julia Child Day and the Sherrerd Teaching Prizes, begun in 2004, the college's annual events honor our students, faculty and alumnae for their accomplishments; bring families to campus for a taste of college life; and give students an opportunity to learn, reflect or just have fun.

Cromwell Day

Thursday, November 6

The theme for this year’s Cromwell Day is Courage & Community in Contentious Times: Finding the Strength to Move Forward, featuring keynote speaker Farah Pandith ’90.
