Toward Equity: Faculty Workload

How can we collectively improve faculty workload at Smith so that our work within departments and programs is more equitably distributed? We will discuss the work of the Faculty Workload Equity initiative led by the provost’s office and create a space for participants to share their experiences. Faculty engaged in this work will discuss evidence-based practices to increase transparency, clarity, and accountability around faculty workload within academic units.
