Join us from 4–8 p.m. for an evening of art, making, and community at the Smith College Museum of Art.
From 4–7 p.m., explore natural materials collected from the campus at a touch table staffed by Smith’s BoGSEs (Botanic Garden Student Educators). Recycle grocery bags and newspaper into a living seed necklace, wearable oversized flowers and weathergrams to hang in trees. SCMA's Second Friday on April 11 is a culminating event of Northampton’s Week of the Young Child programming (April 5–11, 2025).
From 4–8 p.m., discover and enjoy four floors of art! Including a Pop-Up exhibition of German Expressionist prints and drawings curated by the Amherst College class “Apocalypse and Utopia” in the Cunningham Center located on the second floor, along with the current exhibition Younes Rahmoun: Here, Now.
SCMA is free and open to all!
