MES Film Screening - "Artifact War: Relics Under Fire"

Smith's Program in Middle East Studies is hosting archaeologist Amr Al-Azm for a screening of the documentary "Artifact War: Relics Under Fire". The film deals with the looting of Syrian cultural artifacts by ISIS and their subsequent illicit sale. Follow Dr. Al-Azm and two associates as they attempt to infiltrate the ranks of ISIS in order to uncover the theft of artifacts during the height of the Syrian civil war. A question and answer session with Dr. Al-Azm will follow the screening.
