The following is an agreement for
the division of lands owned in Co [company]
by Lewis & Luther Bodman in Bement, Ill.
Division marked A
The S. ½ of Sec. 3 n 8. 17 R. I. E.
" S. ½ of Sec. 25 [after] 21.
and the N W. 2. & E ½ S. W. ¼
after 35 all in 8.17. 5. E.
containing about 1200 acres

containing 1200 [ acres]
Leaving Undivided N- E ¼

Reg. office also by [?] Deed from Co. of [?]
It is understood if we get a RR switch
it is to be ¾ mile from N line of division
marked A. or as near as practicable.
Road 6 ft. wide to be reserved as
on N. side of B. to the west side of
Sec. 35 Ground to be thrown up and
prepared for hedge row this fall by L &LB
and set out Spring.
Broom corn prep. power and scrapers[?]
and sheds connected to be owned by L& LB.
The ten long B.C. sheds on lots A & B to
be owned by ea. respectively but these can
all be used during the continuance of the B. C.
Co. on same terms as heretofore, or on terms to
be agreed on for the use of L&L B.
Scales to be owned by co. the cost of the
deep well to be chgd to the party who takes
lot A but the pump & fixtures to be paid for
by L&L B. & be kept there so long as Co. stock
is kept on the premises.
The party who takes A. shall pay the Co.
a bonus of thirty seven hundred and fifty
dollars. The party that takes B shall take
the amt of said bonus from the Co. Notes of
said L&L B to be a fair average of said notes.
And Lewis Bodman is to have his choice
between A & B.
